Who is organising the event?

This meeting is organised by CHAIN UKI, a multidisciplinary coalition of healthcare professionals and researchers, focused on optimising care for older people living with HIV and advancing research in the field. The group includes geriatricians, HIV specialists, physiotherapists, pharmacists and nurses from across the UK and Ireland. See more about the group on our organising committee page.

Can I submit a research case or presentation for the conference?

Yes, we welcome case submissions that highlight the complexity of managing people ageing with HIV. We are particularly interested in real-world cases that illustrate the challenges, multidisciplinary approaches, and innovative strategies involved in the care of this population.

Cases are welcome from all healthcare professionals involved in the care of people ageing with HIV. If you have a case you’d like to present, please email us a brief abstract (up to 250 words) outlining the key elements of your case.

Is there any travel support for attendees?

Yes – there are 5 travel scholarships available for attendees travelling from outside of London. Please email us (chain.uki@bsms.ac.uk) or head over to our contact page to express interest in these scholarships.
